Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Snowflake Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Snowflake solutions to support our clients' data needs. You will collaborate closely with our data engineering, analytics, and infrastructure teams to ensure the seamless integration of Snowflake within our ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain Snowflake data warehouses and data lakes.
  • Develop ETL processes to ingest data into Snowflake from various sources.
  • Optimize Snowflake performance through query optimization, resource management, and workload tuning.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Snowflake environments to ensure high availability, reliability, and security.
  • Work closely with data engineers and data analysts to understand data requirements and design appropriate Snowflake solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Snowflake features, best practices, and industry trends.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and clients on Snowflake-related issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Snowflake Engineer or similar role, with hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing Snowflake solutions.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling principles.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Snowflake certifications (e.g., SnowPro Core, SnowPro Advanced) are a plus.
